Buddy Sleeve

The “BuddySleeve” concept is a device designed for divers to keep control of the position and the respiration of their diving buddies. The BuddySleeve aims at enhancing the diver’s visibility and breathing rhythm, this is achieved through a bluetooth sensor on the tank which sends the data to a receiver on the sleeve which transfomrs it into a light output . Also, the concept explores design options to make the product fit within a circular economy (involving take-back, repair and upgrading).

The concept serves as a starting block to design a whole wet suit or other modular parts to create a cohesive system for diving activities.
